0404R Replacement Flapper Valve for All Motive Pumps

The Motive Products 0404R is the replacement flapper check valve used in all Motive pump assemblies. Seated at the base of the pump shaft, the flapper allows fluid to move on the down-stroke and seals on the up-stroke. When it tears or stiffens, the pump can't build pressure. This is a $1 fix before you consider a full pump replacement.

Replace When

• Pump strokes freely but pressure won't exceed 5–8 psi
• Fluid visibly pulses backward into the pump bore between strokes
• Flapper is torn, cracked, stiff, or missing
