1144 GM Engine Pre-Lube Adapter – 1/8" NPT

Protect a fresh GM engine from the most damaging wear it will ever experience — the first start — with the Motive Products 1144 Pre-Lube Adapter. Thread this compact fitting into the factory 1/8" NPT oil-pressure sender port, connect your Motive PowerFill hose, and pump clean oil directly into the galleries before the crank ever turns. Bearings, cam lobes, lifters, and turbo oil lines are fully wetted before fire-up, eliminating the dry-friction spike that shortens engine life.

Specifications & Features

  • Thread Size: 1/8" NPT male — fits late-model LS, LT, and many other GM engines that relocated the oil-pressure sender to a 1/8" NPT port
  • Stainless Quick-Connect Nipple — snaps to any Motive PowerFill or Power Bleeder hose for a leak-free pre-lube connection; disconnects cleanly with no drips
  • Anodized Aluminum Body — lightweight, corrosion-proof, and safe with all conventional and synthetic break-in oils
  • Compact Design — clears tight intake manifold and firewall clearances; use on a fully dressed long-block without pulling accessories

How to Use

  • Remove the factory sender or plug from the 1/8" NPT port
  • Thread in the 1144 adapter hand-tight plus 1/8 turn
  • Attach Motive PowerFill hose to the quick-connect nipple
  • Fill tank with fresh break-in oil and pump to 20–25 psi
  • Hold pressure until oil appears at rocker arms or pushrod tips
  • Remove adapter, re-install the factory sender, and start with confidence

Fitment Note

Confirm your sender port is 1/8" NPT before ordering. For 1/4" NPT ports use Motive adapter #1188; for 3/8" NPT ports use #1138. All three sizes are available as a bundle in kit #1190.
